Last week I took some friends with me on the Haciendas Parade of homes. When we walked in the Tierra Concepts home, we were astounded by the balance of contemporary design and Southwest design. Tierra Concepts won the top award, the Grand Hacienda awarded by the Santa Fe area Home Builders Association

While this homes appear to be pueblo style on the outside, inside we found a refined contemporary aesthetic and open floor plan. There was ample use of floor to ceiling windows and skylights, allowing the home to feel light and bright. Almost every room you entered had a big view of the sky and mountains.
