Going Green – Santa Fe Farmer’s Market
What would green community be without a farmers market? Don't you remember on Saturday mornings the family would beeline to the farmers market? Can you remember corn so sweet you would eat it off the cob? How about those huge strawberries that melt in your mouth?
Santa Fe Farmers Market has it's own building off of Guadalupe Street in downtown Santa Fe. The market opens every Tuesday and Saturday, 9am-12pm.
Here you can enjoy: fresh roasted red and green chile, pumpkins, greens, apples, eggplants, sprouts, herbs, tomatoes, root veggies, eggs, cheeses, grassfed meats, baked goods, fresh cut flowers, dried foods, crafts, body care, lavender products, houseplants, bedding plants, and more!
The market also offers a vast green network for your use. Santa Fe Farmer Market Links offers you: Community Food Security Coalition, Earth Care International, EcoVersity, Sustainable Agriculture Science Center, and more…
